Consider Hiring the Adlib Steel Orchestra for Your Next Event
The Adlib Steel Orchestra can provide the tropical spice you need to get the right flavor for your upcoming function, whether it is a wedding, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a birthday, a corporate affair, a political event, a holiday or block party.
While it is possible to get a taste of the spice with a solo pan player or a trio, to get the full flavor of the tropics, you should consider hiring a full band of six to nine musicians. The larger band performs on steelpan instruments that cover the full musical range from the melody to the bass and includes a rhythm section. Before you decide on a smaller group, listen to some of the performances by the larger group.

Adlib’s performance musicians are chosen from the older, more experienced members of the Adlib youth orchestra. They have a substantial repertoire of music: Calypso & Reggae, pop and rock standards, R&B, Latin, jazz, and even some classical music.
If you have a special song you want to hear, with sufficient advance notice the band may be able to add it to their repertoire before your engagement.

If you are interested in a performance at a church service, you should consider Adlib’s senior band. Their repertoire is centered on Gospel music. They have performed at many churches in the New York area.
Adlib depends to a large degree on the income from its engagements to fund its activities throughout the year.
